    • That the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and is the standard of character, experience, belief and practice. 2 Timothy 3:16-1 7.
    • That God is a loving, personal being. 1 John 4:8, Hebrews 1:1-3.
    • That Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God and our Saviour. John 1:1-3,14 John 3: 16-17.
    • That the Holy Spirit is the divine Comforter. John 15:26.
    • That the world, with all its life forms including man and woman, was created in seven literal days by God. Genesis 1.
    • That man by nature is a sinner and mortal. Romans 3:10, 23; Job 4:1; 1 Timothy 6:15-16.
    • That the devil, or Satan, is involved in a great struggle with Jesus over the souls of men and women (Revelation 12:7-12, 1 Peter 5:8), and that Satan is responsible for the sin, death and suffering we now experience. John 8:44, 1 John 3:8.
    • That Jesus lived a sinless life, died for the sins of every person, was resurrected, and now ministers in heaven for us as our High Priest. 1 Peter 2:22, Romans 5:6, Luke 24:1-8, Hebrews 2:17-18, 4:14-16, 7:25.
    • That the Second Coming of Christ is very near. That it will be literal, personal, and visible to all. John 14:1-3, Acts 1:11, Matthew 24:30.
    • That eternal life is the free gift of God received by faith alone. It cannot be deserved nor earned. Romans 3:20, 6:23, 10:9-13 Ephesians 2:8-9.
    • That righteousness, or the ability to overcome sin and live a good life, are the gift of God by faith through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 4:3-5, Ezekiel 36:25-27.
    • That the law of Ten Commandments is the standard of righteousness by which all will be judged, and which all Christians are commanded to obey. James 2:10-12, Exodus 20:3-1 7.
    • That the original seventh-day Sabbath, Saturday, has never been changed by divine authority, and therefore all Christians are under obligation to keep it holy. Genesis 2:2-3, Luke 23:54-56.
    • That the dead are in an unconscious state. Ecclesiastes 9:5-6.
    • That there will be a resurrection of the dead. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.
    • That the wicked will not burn eternally, but will be burned up. Malachi 4:1-3.

    • That discarding the use of intoxicants, tobacco, and such foods as God declares to be unhealthful, is in harmony with God's will for all Christians. Proverbs 23:29-32, 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, Leviticus 11:1-30, Isaiah 66:15-17.
    • That the followers of Jesus should manifest true Christian modesty in dress and deportment, and should shun all questionable worldly amusements. l Timothy 2:9-10, Matthew 24:3744, James 1:27.
    • That the foregoing principles are practiced, not from a sense of obligation, or to enable the individual to "earn a place in heaven, but rather come as the result of an experience in which there is a close walk with Christ, and are a natural consequence of accepting Him as Saviour and Lord.
