Aloha Visitors!
Maui is an incredible reflection of God's creation. The warm tropical breezes, spectacularly blue ocean, Haleakala, whales and undersea wonders. We're glad you're here to enjoy our beautiful island.
And, what better way to celebrate the glory of that creation than by joining us for Sabbath services. Didn't bring "fancy clothes"? No problem: We're a come-as-you-are church!
Where else can you experience hymns sung in Samoan or Japanese? Prayers in Hawaiian. Ukuleles and guitars instead of church organ music. And, thoughtful and inspiring messages delivered with Japanese, Hawaiian overtones or a touch of Cajun from Louisiana. You'll be a part of our Ohana (family) for the day.
After the worship service listen for the call of "Hele Mai" from Auntie Ele. That's Hawaiian for "come together". In this case, it's getting together to enjoy a delicious, complimentary lunch served outside in the warm Maui sunshine. The food is delicious and the fellowship is unique as you visit with Maui residents and visitors from all over the world.
Services start at 10:00am with a song service, followed by a weekly lesson study, praise and prayer requests following and the message at 11:00. During this pandemic we are not having our usual after-church potluck, but if you don't have a place to go just ask - we'll find a place for you! Can't be here right at 10:00...11:00...whenever? Don't worry. We're on Maui time. We'll be happy to see you whenever you arrive.
"E komo mai na 'Ohana" (You'll just have to visit with us on Sabbath to find out what that means.)
